SalusCare Achieves GuideStar Gold Honor
June 22, 2015 - News & Press
SalusCare, Inc. has received the GuideStar Exchange Gold participation level, a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, the premier source of non-profit information.
GuideStar USA is a public charity that collects, organizes and presents information on 1.8 million IRS-recognized non-profits. The Gold status is the highest level awarded by GuideStar Exchange, and shows that SalusCare commits itself to the highest level of transparency.
To obtain the Gold status, SalusCare worked diligently to complete the Charting Impact Report, a joint project of the Better business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, GuideStar USA, Inc., and Independent Sector. SalusCare previously earned the Bronze and Silver seals.
“We are pleased that our work has been recognized by GuideStar Exchange because it demonstrates to our donors and supporters that we hold ourselves to the highest levels of transparency and accountability. By being a Gold level participant, it also enables us to share our story with the immense audience of GuideStar Exchange participants, grantmakers and donors,” said SalusCare CEO Kevin B. Lewis.
GuideStar reaches 10 million visitors through its website (www.guidestar.org) each year and millions of other viewers through GuideStar’s network of donation providers, search engines, donor-advised funds, foundations and more.
