SalusCare Collaborates

As a regional leader in behavioral health services, SalusCare is an innovative nonprofit model leading the way for modern behavioral health services in Southwest Florida. In addition to providing services for adults and children, SalusCare collaborates with partners throughout the region to connect individuals with the full array of available resources and expand access to care.

Central Florida Behavioral Health Network
SalusCare is a member of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network (CFBHN), a not for profit 501(c)(3) community services network incorporated in 1997. Currently CFBHN contracts with more than 60 provider organizations to offer a full array of mental health and substance abuse services in the SunCoast region and Circuit 10. The geographic area served spans from Pasco in the north, throughout the Tampa Bay area, east through Polk, Highlands and Hardee and south from Desoto to Lee counties. The range of services includes acute care, residential treatment, housing, medical, outpatient and recovery support services. Substance abuse prevention services are also provided for at-risk children.

A joint venture between the State of Florida and the Lee County Board of County Commissioners, the Department of Health works in partnership with other health care providers, contractors, law enforcement and social service providers in an integrated and coordinated effort, with the goal of maximizing resources.

Lee County Human Services and Veteran’s Services provides a variety of services to residents of Lee County to assist with obtaining or maintaining affordable housing, empowering individuals and neighborhoods to improve basic living conditions and work towards self-sufficiency as well as case managing youth due to problems at school or with the juvenile justice system.
NAMI is a non-profit, grassroots, self-help, support, and advocacy organization of consumers, family members, and friends of people with mental illnesses. NAMI provides free education and support programs for individuals, family members, providers and general public in Lee, Charlotte & Hendry Counties.
United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties, and United Way 211, serves the needs of hundreds of thousands of Southwest Floridians by supporting more than 80 not-for-profit agencies. SalusCare is a proud United Way Partner and Pacesetter Agency.
The Lee County Homeless Coalition’s mission is “to advocate, educate, and promote awareness of issues and obstacles facing homeless individuals in Lee County through community collaboration, planning, and implementing solutions.” The Lee County Homeless Coalition is a non-profit advocacy group made up of community and faith-based service providers, local businesses, people who are currently experiencing or who have experienced homelessness, and other advocates committed to ending homelessness.
Since its founding in 1989 by Jim Nathan, Sheriff Mike Scott and a group of local leaders, the Lee County Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida has worked to provide prevention resources to families in Lee County. Prevention events include Drug House Odyssey, Red Ribbon Week Celebrations, Town Hall Meetings and Lunch and Learn Educational Events.
