Adult Programs at the Transitional Living Campus

At SalusCare’s Transitional Living Campus (TLC) in Fort Myers, adults who are recovering from substance use disorders can attend day and extended-day programs or receive residential treatment.

Day, extended day and evening programs

This is an alternative to residential treatment that provides a sober, supportive environment during substance use treatment.

Those who qualify for this level of non-residential care receive their treatment in a structured environment during the day or evening:

  • 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • 8 a.m. – noon
  • 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • 7:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Participants may continue working or going to school, and they return to their own off-campus home in the evenings.

TLC provides intensive recovery support with a 20-bed co-ed substance use residential treatment program.

Here, adults receive individual treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnoses during a short-term stay.

In addition to providing a short-term inpatient residential treatment for adults with a substance use disorder, it offers a step down into a transitional home which affords a longer stay for individuals to reach their recovery goals.

SalusCare operates a 14-bed women’s transitional house and a 16-bed men’s transitional house at TLC.

This longer-term adult residential program allows recovering individuals an opportunity to live in a home-like environment with their “recovery family.”

It is an accredited, peer-led, supportive and safe housing community for residents in recovery who are pursuing goals such as gainful employment or continued education.

  • Residents learn how to live in recovery and what a life in recovery means
  • Residents choose their path to recovery, and the residence community supports that path
  • The community is driven, governed and supported by its peers
  • Low barriers for individuals who may have been criminalized or stigmatized due to their addiction
  • Life skills training, including vocational and educational training

Residents are required to pay a portion of their income to live in transitional housing and meet other income requirements.

Treatment for alcohol use disorders and opioid use disorders that includes the use of medication along with counseling and other support

Maternal-Assistance Program (MAP)

Free substance abuse treatment and support for eligible women who are pregnant or up to 12 months postpartum.
