The initial Care Connection appointment includes assessment and collaborative planning for services. The following services will be tailored to your child or teen’s individual needs.
Pediatric psychiatrists consider a child’s developmental stage when assessing and treating mental health concerns, including factors like age-appropriate behaviors and milestones.
The recommended treatment may include Children’s Therapy, but psychiatrists also provide medication management, if a child needs such support.
Psychiatrists treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, mood swings, and behavioral problems.
The goal of therapy is to work collaboratively, as a team, to achieve positive supportive relationships, improved functioning and enhanced ability to cope with life stress.
Our clinicians specialize in the treatment of children and adolescents, offering:

- Family therapy
- Group therapy
Outpatient Therapy is provided by SalusCare.
SalusCare clinicians will collaborate with your child’s other providers (psychiatrist, case manager, school, etc.), to create a team approach to treatment.
Adolescents and young adults with serious mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorders may be eligible for the residential care program at SalusCare’s Vince Smith Campus.
